GETTING TO MILOS
Milos is easy to reach by ferry from the port of Piraeus in Athens. The journey time from Athens to Milos is 3 to 8 hours, depending on the vessel and route. The quickest way to get to Milos by boat is on a high-speed ferry or catamaran, operated by Aegean Speedlines, Seajets, or Golden Star Ferries.
Ferry services connect Milos with several other islands in the Cyclades, including Kimolos, Sifnos, Serifos, Santorini, Mykonos, and Folegandros. Or you can island-hop in style on a private speedboat transfer. There is a weekly ferry connection between Milos and Crete.
Milos has a dinky domestic airport with direct flights to the international airport of Athens. It’s a 45 minute dash to the island by plane.
Aegean Airlines, Olympic Air and Sky Express all fly to Milos. There are several flights a day during summer and a less frequent service all year round.
The quickest, slickest way to get to Milos is by helicopter. Our concierge will be happy to organise private transfers by chopper from Athens or other Cycladic islands. The aerial views will blow you away.
